FAQ
1. Why doesn't T-checker index my papers, even after multiple checks?
T-checker is built to keep your work completely private. None of your papers are ever added to your university's database.
Our system uses a non-indexing configuration - meaning no matter how many times you check, your document stays untracked and secure.
2. Can I use T-checker for papers already submitted to my school's database?
You can, but expect a higher plagiarism percentage.
Since your paper is already stored in your university's database, it will naturally show as a match.
This won't affect your AI detection results, so you can still use T-checker to analyze your AI content.
3. Are T-checker's AI results the same as my school's system?
Yes - if you upload the same version of your paper, the AI results should align.
However, any edits made after checking (such as rewording, formatting, or grammar tweaks) can change the AI reading.
For best accuracy, recheck your final version in T-checker before submission.
4. What happens if I forget to download my report within 24 hours?
For security reasons, all files and reports are automatically deleted after 24 hours.
If that happens, you can still access your report from the email copy T-checker sends to your registered account.
5. Why did my paper get flagged as AI if I didn't use ChatGPT?
AI detection isn't flawless - even the detector your university uses can sometimes misread certain writing styles.
Using tools like Grammarly, QuillBot, or writing in an overly formal tone may cause small AI flags.
If you didn't use AI, try simplifying or rephrasing overly complex sentences to reduce the AI ratio.
6. What does "*%" mean in the AI report?
Starting from July 16, 2024, most university AI reports display a percentage ("%") when AI content falls between 1% and 19%.
